Cycling: Thank You Boise Bicycle Project!

We learned so much at our first cycling meeting.  Our special guest, Yann from the Boise Bicycle Project, made it such an amazing meeting.

He showed us how to properly size our helmets.

We learned how to do an ABC safety check before riding our bikes.

A is for Air Pressure
B is for Brakes
C is for Chain

We learned so much!

After we learned how to ride safely, Yann hit the Kristin Armstrong Children's bike trail with us.
All our Navigators learned so much and had a blast!

Annual Idaho Navigators Fundraising Drive

Our Annual Fundraising Drive has begun!

The boys and girls in our local chapter have done some amazing things over the last year.  We have learned how to fish, hike, build a fire, and create a snow shelter.  We have helped our community by aiding in a community garden, running a food drive and helping to Rake Up Boise.

We are working hard to make sure that Idaho Navigators is a fun and educational experience for all children in our community, but to keep this program running, we need help from you.

100% of your donation will go to help scouts in your community continue learn and grow in the great outdoors.

Spring Hike in the Foothills

Our Junior Navigators met up over the weekend for our first hike of the season.
We set our maps to North...

 and hit the trail.

We made sure to check our maps regularly.

We had a great time climbing and exploring at the end of the trail.

Another great hike for the Navigators!
