Our First Hike!

Our first ever Navigators hike was last weekend.

The kids did great and we had so much fun.  

We checked our maps...

and hit the trail.

We took a few breaks for snacks and checking out the view.

It wasn't always easy, but we helped each other get through.

At the end of our hike, we had a blast climbing and splashing!
Who needs a playground when nature is this awesome?

Can't wait for our next hike!

Navigators Navigate: A day of Maps, Compasses and Geocaching!

Our Navigators had a great time today!

Our younger Stargazers group went on a hunt for pirate treasure using their maps!

Our Mira, Vega, and Polaris kids learned about compasses and made their own maps to their own buried treasure.

Then they traded the maps and found the hidden gold, chocolate gold that is.

Our Sr Navigators learned more detailed map reading, triangulation and got a taste of geocaching.

Another great fun and educational day for the Idaho Navigators!
