Our June Hike

We took a beautiful shady hike at Crooked River over the weekend.

Before the hike we checked our packs to make sure we had all the needed supplies.

Our Jrs added 3.4 miles to their hiking mileage trackers and our Srs added a whopping 7 mile hike!

We learned about many native plants that grew along the trail.

We learned about "Leave No Trace." We helped to clean up the trail as we went and even earned a prize for most trash collected and a cool patch for everyone.

Another great hike for Idaho Navigators!

"Fill the Box" Food Drive, A HUGE Success!

Our Navigators have worked hard over the last few weeks for our "Fill the Box" Food Drive.  Many went door to door asking for help from friends, family and neighbors.  

This week we loaded up all the food and brought in our donation to The Idaho Foodbank.

We donated a combined 402 pounds of food!!!

Amazing job Navigators!

Idaho Navigators Learn About First Aid

During Friday's meeting, we learned about first aid.

Our Junior Navigators built their own personal first aid kits... 

and went on a nature scavenger hunt!

Our Senior Navigators went more in depth on first aid and built personal first aid kits. 

Then of course we made time for a healthy snack.
